Husband & Wife

♣ Mu'awiyah RadhiAllahu Anhu asked: Apostle of Allah, what is the right of the wife of one of us over him? He replied: That you should give her food when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, do not strike her on the face, do not revile her or separate yourself from her except in the house.

♣ Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,

"Whichever woman dies while her husband is pleased with her, then she enters Paradise."

Tirmidhi 1161

♣ Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,

"All of you are guardians and are responsible for your words. The ruler is a guardian and the man is a guardian of his family; the lady is a guardian and is responsible for her husband's house and his off-spring; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your words."

♣ Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,

The most wicked among the people in the eye of Allah on the Day of judgment is the men who goes to his wife and she comes to him, and then he divulges her secret.

Sahih Muslim - 3369

♣ Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,

"It is not lawful for a lady to observe Saum (nawafil) without permission of her husband when he is at home, and she should not allow anyone to enter his house without his consent; and whatever she spends of his wealth without being ordered by him, he will get half of the reward."
